im pretty sure its resident evil since its got the horror genre tag, and the best horror game released last gen was resident evil.. plus it also has the same perspective as resident evil
wow. that's a really great score. I'll be getting this game for sure now. :D and I know I shouldn't base my poinion off of ONE review, but this looks really positive :)

For the record, RE4 was hardly horror. It was about as scary as H3 or HL2, and those are shooter action. BTW RE needs to go back to its roots. Thank god for SH.
On topic though, this game looks great. This and SHH will deff be purchases after I finish all the old SH games.

That is exactly what I was going to say. I still need to play Homecoming though. RE4 can't be considered a survival horror game. RE4 and 5 are as survival horror as Halo is an RPG.
Great i've been undecided on this game bc i already preorder 3 different games coming out this month, but if reviews keep being this high ill pick this one up as well.

But... People are pretty much lumping anything into that category nowadays, mainly Resident Evil 4 and Bioshock. I don't care what anybody says, Bioshock is not a survival horror game, it is a first person shooter.
hoping a store us doing midnight release near me, i've been drooling over this game since it was announced. This game and some Brown Bomber (if you don't get that, watch grandma's boy. if you don't know what grandma's boy is, you fail at life) on ole Hallow's eve = Good Times.

ive never seen a site categorize bioshock as a survival horror game
got the mag today myself didnt really read it all but ive been waiting for this game for months ever since i discovered it. dosnt seem like gamespot are very excited about it coz i never really see any links to vids or anything on the homepage but yeah, im definitely getting this one
This is the only game is my Sig that I haven't totally made my mind up on yet, every other I've already put money toward. Even after this review I still think I'll wait until the game releases and some player reviews are posted here.
