Dead Space or Burnout Paradise

I've got a $20 microsoft card, and I was planning on using it for a game on demand to tide me over until BFBC2 comes out.

I've narrowed it down to either Dead Space or Burnout Paradise, and I love both, but I can't decide.

Dead Space is more narrative, I hear it has a good story, and is unique.

Burnout, on the other hand, is a series I came to love starting with Burnout 3:Takedown. I hear the multiplayer is loads of fun, and the free updates are nice.

Which one, in your opinions, is better? I like multiplayer replayability, but is racing in Burnout like regular racing, like going into a lobby and joining a match, then starting a race? And I just keep hearing how good Dead Space is, so I can't decide... =X

PS, maybe Battlefield 1943 to tide me over until BC2, but I hear 1943 is just good and not too great, and some people can't connect to matches.

Dead Space for sure! its a hard question to answer seeing as they are two completley different games.

I personally would go with Burnout. It has an awesome multiplayer. I have considered getting DS but the horror is overwhelming to the point of being stupid :P

Burnout Paradise doesn't have match lobbies... in fact it barely has loading times.

When you're playing single player you press the right d-pad button and bam you are officially in online, without even leaving your location in Paradise City. You enter what is called "Free-burning". It's basically a room where a bunch of racers come together and screw around in Paradise. No official races, but there is a multitude of challenges issued by the host of the "room". If you want to enter an official ranked match all you have to do is select that option when you press the right d-pad and you can go straight into a ranked match (assuming there is other people online wanting to race as well).

I vote Burnout Paradise with huge enthusiasm as it is a game that has HIGH replay value and you will most definetally come back to over and over again.

On another note, I have yet to play Dead Space but I really want to (its on my Wish List). I just feel that as a linear action/adventure game there is no reason you will ever come back to play Dead Space again. Burnout is more worth you cash.

Burnout is pretty awesome. I'd get that.

dead space is highly overrated, Burnout Paradise is pretty cool, but why not get a NEW arcade game instead of a game with a very near sequal and a just plain dated racing game? PB winterbottom is sweet, as is Darwinia+ and 1943 is also very good, i played the **** out of that game.

Both games are amazing. You can't go wrong with either choice.

i think it depends on your taste. burnout if you want a quick thrill with a long lasting replayability. Dead space is a fun game if you have a lot of time on your hands too play a lot in one go. it's also fun to play again, but its not the same as burnout. burnout, you can pick up for 5 minutes, hop in a really fast car and do some huge jumps.

both games are awesome. i bought both on day one. and i had lots and lots of fun with em. ill say burnout paradise bc of the MP... believe it or not theres still lots of ppl playing it online. and its really fun.
