dead space or left 4 dea????

i'm curious....these are some of the two most modern horror games involving monster like creatures out there...and with the l4d2 on its way to the gaming world...which do u think is better and y...l4d or dead space...

The single player experience on Dead Space is great. Incredibly well done. Sound, graphics, gameplay, all great. Can play a bit slow at times, but all in all a great new IP.

Left 4 Dead really lends itself to a multiplayer experience or co-op. It is very intense, fast paced and so much better with a friend or more. It doesn't have as much polish as Dead Space, in sound or graphics. But L4D is more about the experience. It's very simplistic, but well executed. Incredibly fun.

The both play so very different. Dead Space follows a conventional concept of the survival horror genre a bit better. L4D is more just hyper survival with little horror.

well although i love dead space alot, im going to say what i always say to sp for mp game. Get the multiplayer it is more repeatable and although the new one is coming out some time soon im sure you can find a place with a good deal so that you don't end up over paying for a game that your only playing for a couple of months.

well thought...i have rented both..and i couldnt agreed with u more..i havent beaten dead space yet..i just got it yesterday..i am on mission 4 or 5....

Left 4 dead. Lots of replay value. And tons of things to do.

Dead space isn't that scary, F.E.A.R. 2 is scarier than that if you've played then you'll agree with me. But Left 4 dead has a great multi-player and has good game play. Left 4 dead is better.

GET BOTH. NOW.

They are both great for different reasons.

Dead Space

1. Great story
2. Atmospheric
3. Stunning graphics
4. Sci-Fi-licious

Left4Dead

1. Fast paced
2. Fun fun fun co-op/multi
3. Zombies (need I say anthing more?)
4. Replay value out the wazoo

if you prefer multiplayer get Left 4 deadd since it is 99% multiplayer

if you prefer campaign get Dead Space since it is 100% campain/

Playing alone - Dead Space

Playing with others - Left 4 Dead

I would have to go with Left4Dead because it in my opinion has a better gaming engine and its really fun to play with other people.

I have both... But I wish I had rented Deadspace instead of buying it. I beat it in a weekend. L4D I have played for months and months...

But, if you don't have Live, then L4D is no good

yea....dead space isnt that scary...after last night the necromorphs playing dead didnt surprise me...so far i havetn had any serious scares in dead space
