Dead Space...now what?

I don't get it, I know there is a Dead Space 2 but what the hell is it gonna be about? Everyone dies, you kill that giant monster thing, and then you fly away without the marker, the thing that the marker and the colony was on explodes and then what the hell was that zombie girl thing at the end. How is EA gonna build off of that?

And another thing, if that girl was an illusion who the hell opened the doors and piloted the damn ship and all that! I mean, it was a great game but alot of it was just like, wtf? Like somehow an engineer survives but all of these soldiers don't.

I know it was nichole. i forgot her name. And it didn't go over my head. I hate halo 3. If you can tell me how an illusion pilots a ship opens doors please explain. I'm not saying the game was bad. I loved it. The story was great, all the plot twists. It just was a little bit confusing. simo98088, what was that. All's I'm saying is, how is EA gonna make another game when the marker is gone. The colony was blown up too. All of the main characters are dead. And I know he really didn't get attacked at the end, that was just an illusion. or was it.Hatiko

The game is fantastic, I replay it all the time, its really nice to keep your equipment and stuff. I loved everything about it, but the story is far far far below average.

Ya, i guess we are just going to have to wait and see. I agree the story wasn't wow, but the way it evolved throughout the game I think was good.

She was not an illusion. Well not completly anyway. She had been dead for a while so the hive mind used her corpse to fool Isaac into helping it so when he saw Nicole he saw his girlfriend not the zombie in the ship. And the hive mind can make those corpses under its control do anything it wants it to even type or not attack Isaac. I'm about positive thats whats going on.Rummy500

Well, was the girl in the ship at the end Kendra, or your dead missus? They'll probably craft a kick*** sequel, hopefully involving taking down the stoopid religious cult that caused all the trouble in the first place.

Hopefully, they won't use the writers that brought us the awful Condemned 2 plot:evil:

Trust me, no company (especially EA) is going to let a dead end story keep them from cranking out sequels if it will make them more money.

I really liked Dead Space but that ending was a real **** slap to the face IMO.

What if u never really opened the doors during that mission where u see Nichole "helping" you? Doors could of been unlocked all the while. Just the beast messing with Issac's mind. There could be another marker. They did mention there were others found. All those questions you have are great material for a sequel. Who says all the main characters are dead? We never saw Issac die. U just saw Nichole's corpse attack him. He could have been killed then a ship finds his ship and the whole mess starts all over again on a new ship. Or he survived and goes about his business. Let a new main character handle any new threats that come in. U do know this game has the potential to be on the same level story wise as Resident Evil w/ a space sci fi twist.

The devs did say after they finished the game they had alotta story left over thats why they did the movie. Could be so much story left over parts 2 and three plot wise are already completed. And yea da movie was hot. Explained alot of why certain stuff happened on the ship and what happened to the colony.

Stop trying so hard to answer all the un-answered questions that were left in the game and try to look forward to the sequel. U gonna give yurself a migraine trying to solve all the riddles in the game.
