I'm obsessed about Lost Odyssey...I'm not a hard-core gamer though, I am looking forward playing quite a few of the Upcoming games.-- I am excited about many.
However, I am not 'obsessed' about them; when it comes to Lost Odyssey it's a different story though...I am not used to this.
Well, that is basically all I wanted to say.
was coming in here to say "omg dats gay rpgs is gay they wont be anywhere as cool as those cutscenes"
but those all look sweet.

So true.
Oh what and the next FPS or driving game that is just the same as the others isn't? Come on each to there own and to have this kind of diversity on a console is great!! We should be celebrating the fact that this is happening to the 360 - more diversity and risk taking means more dev's may take a punt at something new or push the envelope a bit.[QUOTE="BNB2000"]Ugh I hate those Japanese turn based games.. seriously. JRPG - the genre where you can get away with doing absolutely nothing gameplay wise for 20 years.
yup, because it works really well. And the story lines are really goodUgh I hate those Japanese turn based games.. They are so incredibly boring.BNB2000
I agree. I don't care what people say, this type of turn based rpg gets painfully repetitive. I got bored of them after I bought Final Fantasy X.
I never thought 360 has any RPG loyal fans.sieudaochich

Infinity Undiscovery is more like Star Ocean 3, an complete action-RPG.
Lost Odyssey and The Last Remnant on the other hand, are more turned-based RPGs but with action-elements in it as well. This approach gives the battle-system more depth, it makes it more interesting imo
Action RPGs such as Kingdom Hearts for example are boring to me. There is just not enough depth to be found in the battle-system for my taste; it grows old pretty fast.
Whereas with turn-based RPGs, it is not just 'hack-and-slash,' you have to think more about every single move that you are making---Think of it as a great Chess match. To me, it never grows old, it keeps you on your toes and there is just an overall more 'deepness' to be found.
Also, you should not forget the great aspect of Story-telling...although, 99.9% of JRPGs suffer from that cliché syndrome...looking at Lost Odyssey for example, it takes an overall dark and mature approach, and you finally have a protagonist who isn't 17 years old lol---he can actually be taken seriously.
