Here what do you think? Will it give me a decent enough picture to be called High Def?

Yeah, it'll get the job done. However, if you can, try to get one with a 5ms response time. What's your price range for a monitor? (I'm not seeing the price of the one you listed)

720p is as high as that monitor will go. and with it not being widescreen you will probably have all your games running in letter box mode. kinda low contrast ratio as well. you could find something better on newegg for the same price or maybe even less.

Well it will look better than my current 20" SDTV correct? Or not really?

Well, my monitor has a 500:1 contrast ratio and the picture still looks great., but you definitely don't want to go much lower than that.

Yeah, it'll look a lot better. However, I would have opted to go for a widescreen monitor.

Ya maybe in a year or 2 I will get an actual TV once I have funds. However this is my first stab into HD and I just wanted the HD game feel.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I bought an LCD monitor a while back and I never want to go back to SDTV.

Enjoy.

Thanks man. Hmmm I just found out an interesting tidbit of information. I-INC is Hannstar and Hannstar is Hanns-G the well known brand of monitors. My monitor is actually a Hanns-G monitor!
