i was wondering if there are any decent gaming headsets for the 360. i would like them to have the ability to be used as normal headphones. my budget is 50-65$

I would go with the official Microsoft brand. They can be purchased cheaply at GameStop (not sure about the exact price).

you can try the ones made by turtle beach. i belive they are earforce x2. i have the x4 and they are awsome

i have the turtle beach x1's and they are amazing. very comfortable, great sound quality and only $50. i definetly recommend them but they can't be used a regular headphones, but i would buy them anyway.

do u mean just a mic or a head set where mic and audio comes in? mics well i got halo wireless one and had about 2 years and going in 5 months soon and works like new. audio my friend i used about twice he as the turtle beach x4 and their really nice he got them off ebay for about 80 bucks

Get Turtle Beach x1's Absolutely amazing, I have X3's but X'1s are only around 60

No! It covers an ear and you really need both ears for multiplayer games CoD4 you need both ears to hear where people are Left 4 Dead you need to hear where Boomers, Tanks, Hunters, Smokers are I can go on, definitely don't use microsoft brand they are garbage

Some people such as myself use their surround sound system to hear things in the game. Besides it's not like the official xbox one cuts out sound completely. I mean if you don't have surround sound then yes these might be worth it, but IMHO a good sound system with the standard issue mic is all you need.

im still using my old HALO 2 headset. n it still awesome. anyway try the official wireless headset

lol thank you for your help so far. what i meant by the headset was a headset with auido and and a mic.
