Show's just going to be cancelled after a single season, I just can't see the game having an active community for very long.
I think you are counting the show out to quick. Heck there is a news article on Gamespot stating the Pilot had 2.3 million viewers. And to answer the above comment I think the game takes place in San Fransico and the show takes place in St Louis. The game will have tie ins with the show, say if a character from the show travels to San Fran or something like that.... Not really sure dont have the game just been reading about it.Show's just going to be cancelled after a single season, I just can't see the game having an active community for very long.

I'm actually enjoying the game. Don't get me wrong it's hardly a looker, some sever issues and even though it's its an MMO there doesn't seem to be the whole community hubs other MMo's seem to have...

But as i have said for some strange reason I can forgive all these (and a couple more) things that are wrong with it. Once you get your head around it it's actually quite a compelling little game that encourages you to play more by, well for me anyway, pushing the right buttonsÂ
I know critic reviews don't matter much, but the game has a 57 on Metacritic and I've heard the graphics are incredibly muddled (not surprised considering it's a console MMO). It looks like a hell lot of fun, but I'll wait for a price drop.
SciFi has ALREADY picked up the second season. I'll tell you what I know about the game. It's a fun open world that keeps expanding with your progress, very sandbox like in it's approach towards missions and traveling along the road encounters. Ark falls which are like server events attract new players because of the XP and loot drops, but as you lvl up you'll look to them less for the things that you need. And what you will need is a constant and steady stream of NEW weapons and mods to keep your character in tip top shape. Arkfalls draw huge crowds and are known for two things, BIG boss battles and HEAVY lag. That's why I stay away from them. Vehicles come on pretty fast so you won't be hoofing it for very long, and if you can learn to relax your left thumb your driving will improve quickly. The peak hours are probably the best time to play with randoms. You don't have to worry about every being griefed........most of the time. Just watch the grenade tosses, splash damage from explosions can put other Ark Hunters on their backs, and you're going to NEED those people when mini-bosses show up. The enemies in this game take no prisoners. So if someone is good enough to revive you, be kind and return the courtesy so you can both get back to work.. The game could certainly use a slight improvement in customizations and some enemy factions are very cheap. Like shooting through walls and cover kind of cheap, but it shouldn't be anything a few friends wouldn't be able to handle. So make some if you can't convince anyone on your list to join you. When you have your friends playing with you it can be entertainingly hilarious, but MONSTROUSLY difficult (I'm lvl 620 with a 520 pwr rating) if you're trying to go at it alone. Overall I would recommend it if you like MMOs and sandbox gameplay mechanics. AND if you get your friends to play with you on off-peak hours when things get a little quiet.Show's just going to be cancelled after a single season, I just can't see the game having an active community for very long.
