How do you delete auto-updates for the Xbox 360 Dashboard?

you cant. and he probably needs to remove them to pirate his 360... which would auto ban him as soon as he goes online with it...

It's because the download is corruptedand I can't get on to Xbox Live. Don't jump to conclusions.

What if you format your HD? I think there's an option to do this in the system blade.

If you call 1-800-4MYXBOX they can tell you some button code that you type in on the HDD that will let you get rid of the dashboard updates. I am sure you can find the code on google.

I would call Xbox Live if you are still having problems they will work through all possiblitys to fix you console.

i called hem twice and they have been zero help. the first time i called the person said to call back cause they were having a party in the office. then the other time i was on the phone for 2 hours and they said i needed to take my 360 to a different house and try to download the update and if that doesnt work to call back.

I sent one E-Mail already and I just sent another one. I'll call tomorrow. I can't play Gears of War online till I get this stupid problem fixed.
