Destiny Raids Advice?

I, along with two friends, am trying to do the Destiny Raids on normal for the first time (I know, I'm late to that party). Any advice on how to go about finding a party. I've tried Destiny LFG, but nobody on there seems to be interested in doing anything but the newest raid. So is there anyone that is willing to help us out, or point us in the right direction? I appreciate any help you guys can provide!

When I had to do that previously, I was in a similar situation. I would just play campaign missions, and when I noticed other players nearby, I would send them a fireteam invite. Eventually I stumbled upon a group who knew what they were doing.

I think each raid is somewhat unique and plays entirely different than the others. The key is always going to be communication. I'd help with the first two raids but I simply don't play the game anymore. If you have any questions though I do have extensive knowledge of the Vault of Glass. Spent hundreds of hours in there exploring everything, finding all of the secrets.

I have been trying to get a group together as well. I have 2-3 other people but I would like to play with 5-6 if possible! My gamertag is the same as my username here so feel free to add me and message me to let me know it's you! Next time we are all on we can do the raids. I haven't played any of them either and I have hundreds of hours into destiny. Just so hard to get a fireteam together!
