Incredible.....Halo 3 is indeed going to be an all On-line game again...
I expect atleast 4 hours of campaign. I hope to get atleast that much.....

Where did you get that from?
You realise they aren't talking about the single player because they are keeping it under wraps, not because it doesn't exist. Right?

You realise that Bungie is completely focused ALL on multiplayer once again.
Halo 2 was complete trash as far as campaign goes.
We have heard nothing about the Halo 3 campaign, because its short. Its all multiplayer talk. The Halo 3 BETA was just to test the network infrastructure for multiplayer.
As far as I can see, there may not even be a campaign as far as we know it. It may be about 2 hours of gameplay and the rest will be one long FMV sequence.
Probably one of Peter Jackson's so called "Interactive Halo games"
You will use your DVD remote to guide Master Chief to the Pelican and fly it into the sun....thus ending the Halo 3 game, until Halo 4, where Master Chief is reincarnated into Zombie Chief and has to save Africa from AIDs.

In fact, how do you know 90% of the rubbish you just posted?
He doesn't. Just likes to complain about halo every chance he gets, ignore it.[QUOTE="Raidea"][QUOTE="JohnWinger"]Incredible.....Halo 3 is indeed going to be an all On-line game again...

saying that that halo 2's campaigh was complete trash is going a bit far, caus the story was great and gets realy ineresting by the end of the game. besides i don't think anyone can be a worse critic on halo 2 than bungie themselfs caus they admit that the game didn't turn out the way they wanted to. the reason why the campaighn is under wraps is caus of story, they don't want to give away any clues as to what is going to happem they want all of it to be frsh when you play for the first time.
and as for the AIDS comment thats just ignorant and i hope you get hit by a bus.

if your logic of equating dev team focus with the amount of info they released to the press... then GTA IV has some big trouble, considering that they will not release any real info on the single player until the game comes out (which is what happened to GTA:SA, GTA:VC, and GTA III)

Please Play Halo: Combat Evolved for atleast 30 minutes straight, then hit up Halo 2.
You will see the difference.

What does that have to do with Halo 3 being a bad single player game?
Bungie already admitted they didn't have the time to spend on the single player side of Halo 2, which is one of the reasons it didn't carry the atmosphere and general feel of the Halo:CE campaign.
It's the last game in the series, the conclusion of the Halo story! Your negative attitude is the only reason you have for thinking the Halo 3 campaign will be as Halo 2s.

So we should just forgive and forget the loss of $50 + tax and move on and spend $60 + tax? Because Bungie didn't have enough time to finish the game. Maybe all those threatening letters I sent them made them rush the game and make it bad.
Maybe I'm to blame. Maybe if I take a sledgehammer and smash my Xbox to pieces, then justice will be served.

..or because bungie is keeping the story underwraps untill E3 :|...think about it.E3 2003 bungie released a trailer showing off the single player of halo2 and the year afterwards spoke only about its muitplayer. just because bungie isnt talking about the single player portion..doesnt mean they're not focused on it.

Seriously. I can understand Halo 2 not living up to expectations but really. Anyone w/ common sense knows that they aren't going to reveal much (at least for now) about the SP so as not to ruin the story.
Just take a deep breath and get some sun.

Didn't Bungie openly say that they didn't like the way Halo 2 came out? Anyway, back on topic, I like the new armor types. Please Log In to post.
