I had high hopes for thisgame, but I bought it, and after completing the GDI campaign, and part of the NOD campaign and some online play, it just was decent. The whole game revolves around building as many mammoth tanks, or the NOD equivalent, as you can, and just blasting the enemy base with tanks. I loved most of the Command and Conquer games on the PC, like Red Alert 2 and Generals in particular, but this game just doesnt seem to measure up to the C&C franchise very well. Does anyone share my opinion?
I gotta agree 100%. I loved Red Alert 2 a lot as well. But you are correct, this game was awesome at start, then became very boring. Not enough maps for Team Battles, Mammoth > Any other single unit, Scrin = n00b army with carries, etc. The game should have been way more balanced and thought out. the graphics are nice and they put work into the game obviously, but a console RTS requires more than enough work. I only have 45 achievement points in it, then i stopped playing campaign, it was a big let down, but still an awesome game.

Why dont you play thru each Campaign before talking trash about it?
i love this game im stil on the campaign n im havin lotta fun wit it...cnt wait till i play multiplayer im usly nice at these games i owned in starcraft and red alert so hopefully ill own in this one too
I never got the hang of RTS, i would never venture over brutal or hard, in fear of Weapons of Mass destruction. I remember AOE 2, I would always move my base to my allies and build it up there :)
