I put DiRT into my 360 for the first time yesterday, within the first 30 seconds my Xbox 360 froze. Now I have the 3 red lights of death. I was wondering if (like Dead Rising and/or Forza 2) DiRT could of killed my 360.

No, and Forza 2 and Dead Rising dont kill systems either. The 360 killed your 360, nota game. Just because your 360 died when you had a certain game in it doesnt mean the game killed it. It would of died no matter what game you had in it, it was its time unfortunatly.

360's have a 33% chance of failure. It's no surprise that the 360's are failing and many people are complaining. I knew this from the begining. M$ rushed out a system to gain Marked share, and therefore the system is complete crap. Sorry for your loss. buy a PS3 or a WII, trust me, you will never look back. The 360 runs very hot constantly. Eventually, it will burn up no matter what.

You mean like the PS2? People seem to forget that Sony recalled millions of PS2s at launch due to system failures. It wasnt crap, it just needed fixing. And Sony fixed it. MS needs to stop repairing 360s, and fix the problem thats in current 360s. Stop shipping 360s that they know have issues and fix the problem before they ship, and the failure rate would stop. But they just keep shipping out bad 360s and fixing them when they go bad. And BTW, i have a PS3, and it runs as hot as my 360. Its alot quieter though.

ROFL  Please feel free to just continue making things up whenever you feel like it, it's pretty hilarious, (and of course everyone knows better).

But to answer the TC's question, games don't kill your 360, hardware issues and/or misuse kill your 360. Just because a certain game is in your 360 when it dies does not mean that the game killed it.

if the xbox360 runs hot, then i'm quite sure the other two systems mentioned run hot to, you cant single out one console because of its defects. and to set you straight all electronics made have a chance of failure so it really doesnt matter which system you buy

Actually when my 360 broke it was sitting on top of my desk with nothing surrounding it and i had only been playing it for about an hour. This is M$'s f'kup not the owners.

naw the 3 rings of death is quite common to happen...u cant really prevent it from doing so either...it just happens..its not DiRT's fault or any games fault its microsoft's fault
