I have to agree. Although it's not the best game ever or anything like that, it's a solid game and is very fun. I love the executions in the game! They are just sweet! I really feel that this game is more along the lines of a 7-7.5, nothing amazing but still a fun game.
exactly, its not the best game but it is still awesome, and yes the executions, and having your own made men are really cool. also how the families can retake businesses is good also. its an improved of the first one, I can't see why it is so low rated

The Godfather II is a good & very enjoyable game. Gamespot's review scroe of 4.5 just proves how god awful they are at reviewing.

My friend already bought his and i've been playing it i must say it's a high 7 in my opinion. Also i have never cared for reviews especially after the LO ****. I think people should look forward to games that they know they will enjoy. As soon as i heard of the sequel i was almost guaranteed that i would like it and i was correct.

I'm still debating whether to buy it or not. I also want Guitar Hero Metallica so it is a hard choice. 12 hours is the only thing stopping me, Godfather was endless entertainment

Everything they said in the review is true, every problem they point out in the video I've seen happen. Perhaps you've just had good luck with it so far? I've put in 7 hours myself, control every racket and have eliminated all the rival families. As far as the score goes, why do people even look at the number? It means nothing. The review is spot-on, and thats what matters, not whatever number they pick out of a box to toss on it.

7 hours to get all the rackets...No thanks. I'd rather just play The Godfather again, that took a good 20 hours to extort every business :? I'll be buying Guitar Hero: Metallica this weekend
Outside of the bugs and meh AI the game deserves a 7 at least for being fun,but of course games ether score a 9+ or below 6 on Gamespot and for them theres no in between which is sad.

Because people play the game and see that the score just seems to be a bit too low. If they would have given it a 6 or 6.5 I doubt there would be threads about it but a 4.5... that's saying the game is next to junk... which is not the case for this game. It may not be the best but it's very fun and deserves more than a 4.5 for sure which most other review sites have been giving it.
Godfather2 is basically advancedon Godfather1,but anyhow I think it's less than Godfather1 on its making.
And properly 4.5 points was for its un-dressed lady in the club...and alot unfinished details.But there is no greater game recently so can be played...
