Two weeks ago...my xbox gave me the 3-red-ring of death. Microsoft wanted to charge me $150 because it was already out of warrenty (at the time). So I took it upon myself to open it up and try to fix it after reading around. In the process I had to rip off that warrenty sticker. Needless to say, BAM, I had a working xbox...

This morning it died completley. Moore says the warrenty got extended 3 years, but I ripped off that good ol' void sticker.

Enyone who opns a 360 will pwn themselvs because now because the warrenty is now 3 years not 1

Now you must make a choice to buy a brand new, fix it yourself, or get something else that doesn't die as fast (other consoles).

man, im glad i dont own a 360

how far off does that tape need to be to void the warranty? i got about a quarter of the way down before it clicked as to what it was. so i've never opened the console, but if beaurocracies reign supreme, they might void my warranty out of spite. i hope not...
