well... this time, you don't get money for doing main quests... so if you want better weapons, nice houses gifts for families, etc... you're going to have to take jobs; which can be: wood-cutting, blacksmith, and bartender. Which can keep you occupied for a while... however, you can also invest in houses and rent them out, and this is where I think the game is flawed, because it is waayy to easy to gain money this way. You don't even have to have the xbox on to earn money this way.
There are also plenty of side-quests to keep u playing as well. So, to answer your question... yes, there is enough to keep you playing, it's just the story that didn't excite me that much... great game though
