Well since the update i signed up for it because its an easy and takes care of two things at once. So if you are and want friends leave your gamer tag and or live name. Also overall how do you feel about the messenger part of the update?
I don't really care what they add, as long as they let me remove all traces of arcade game demos from my games list.
I play games on it, not into this "chat" stuff on a console, never have been. I'm one of those gamers that doesn't really like talking to strangers as I blow there head off in Halo 2 or Rainbow six Vegas.

The entire world out side of the united states uses windows live Messenger as their #1 choice for Instant messanging so this is a big deal.Â

ive got a question when i go to sign up to get the windows messenger on xboxlive will i be able to use another email adress or will it sign in with the one i sign up for xbox live with because i got a new adress but i sign up 4 live with my old one so i want to switch them
My question exactly anubis, I started another thread on this exact issue. I'm not gonna starting using my old messenger account just for this, so they better have some way of switching.

I'm almost certain you have to add them to your MSN Messenger on your computer and then it will import that contact information onto Xbox Live when you sign in. Thats how I did it anyway.Â
