Just wondering if Fallout: New Vegas is still buggy as all hell or if the updates fixed it?

Last I played it ran quite smoothly but there were still times when it would lock up. Best advice is to just save as often as possible.

It seems like I am the only person who never had a problem with this game, and I got it on launch. Just install.

I think it's mostly fixed at this point, althoug as with any Bethesda game, save often and in different slots because you never know when something will go wrong. I haven't actually gone back to the game myself, but I should now that it's been fixed. I had a number of quests completely bug out on me (locking me out of some of the final quest chains, and no I'm not talking about the ones you're automatically locked out of when you make a choice), the game hard lock about a half dozen times, and numerous party member glitches like them getting stuck in one spot. I eventually had to abandon one person entirely because their AI seemed to just break. So yeah, starting a new game with those bugs fixed sounds like a good idea.

Make that two. It ran just fine for me. I started playing on day 1, I've played through it twice (thoroughly), and I'm still playing a little nowadays.

I played it last month from start to finish and didn't have a single problem with it that I can remember.

It's a great game I haven't noticed that many problems that actually affect the game. It does occasionally freeze up on me but the most I've seen besides that is a dead 2 headed cow half way in the ground glitching around. But really nothing major, though I still wish it wouldn't freeze. It always makes me quit gaming for the day.

Just wondering if Fallout: New Vegas is still buggy as all hell or if the updates fixed it?Essian

I bought Fallout: New Vegas on its release day and I like some of the others have played it through until I completed it within the first couple of weeks of getting it and I had no issues at all.

So my question is did you actually play the game yourself or are you just going off of what others have said?
