On avarage it takes about 5-6 hours to dowload a game in that time you could go out and buy it in less time for 1/4 of the price not many people will download them at all nevermind use 250GB on them.

if you're someone who plays a lot of rock band and buys all the track packs to keep up with the game and you install games to your hard drive, get a ton of the free themes, like to have a lot of arcade games, then this is perfect. everyone who's **** about someone who needs more hard drive space should just leave them alone and say it's not for you. just because they want 250 gb doesn't mean they should jump off a bridge. :|

I want to know where this 250GB hard drive is coming from. I don't think Microsoft even makes it or sells it (yet). What they need to do is make a kit so you can attach any hard drive you want to the 360. If they want to drive another nail into the coffin of the PS3, that would be it. Until then, my 120GB HD is more than enough...

arcade is $200 so that would be $450 for a bigger hd, 1 game, and an extra controller??? Besides if you read on down it looks like it will proly be $399, us...

That's actually not a whole lot of memory these days. With downloadable games and content becoming the standard in gaming, I expect next gen's consoles to offer 500 GB models, or possibly even more than that.
Well, the Elite is three hundred now, right? Forza 2 will be sixty and a controller is fifty. So thats fourhundred and ten dollars. So you're telling me that one hundred and thirty gig more is worth two hundred fourt dollars? BS. I can't see hardly anyone buying this, really.

Yeah, I saw it on Joystiq a few days ago. I think it's a good move for those people who like to put every album they have ever had on their 360. For me and most people we don't need that big of one. But their must have been some demand for a bigger one from some of the 360 community.

Seriously though, i got about 25 retail games + 3 arcade on my 20GB HDD and i still have like 6GB left. Buy the 250GB HDD if you plan on buying every single games + DLC lol.
Eventually the HDD, if true, will be sold in store...at an awful price. x.x
Wow, 250 gigaflitzers, eh? Since they are coming out with these new bundles and since they just had a price-cut on the Xbox 360's not too long ago, they should drop the price of the freaking hard drives. (buying it alone) I need me a 120 GB. :P

yeah i could see maybe if it were like the ps3 where people put linux and stuff on it and need the space but on the 360 its really uneeded.
You must not get much DLC for your games because I sure needed to upgrade to 250GB. why do u keep all the DLC though? you cant possible be playing that many games in one period
