For about 60 hours. Now I get sick at the sight of it. I can't play it for 5 minutes without being bored out of my mind.orb_03_2006Yeah, it's a great game. But there comes a point when you just cant physically play any more.
I really wanted to give it a chance since my friends play it, even got the GOTY edition. I'm stuck fairly early on, there's a bandit I can't kill no matter what weapons I use I keep dying and my turret wont damage any enemies. So I gave up on the game, I'll trade it in for 4$ at gamestop most likely, that 4$ would be better used for something else. Can't believe people compare this to Fallout, what an insult.
Quite a bit. I've got somewhere around 250 hours of solo playtime spread between two max level characters including all DLC. I really liked it, despite the nonexistent story. Chasing the legendary and pearl weapons got me extremely hooked. Looking forward to the sequel.

I loe it but I have yet to beat robot revolution... I just cannot play it anymore. But the game is awesome!
It was much more fun when I was playing split screen co-op with my friend.Alex3796Yep I agree, my friend and I are currently playing through it in splitscreen. It would be pretty dull by yourself

It was a good game, but developers certainly need to address certain things before releasing a sequel.
It is a great game for co-op, but in general I did not care for it. It probably had to do with the fact that my friends tried to rush me through a lot of it so I could catch up to them. I wish the gameplay was a bit smoother and shooting didn't feel so clunky. I also felt severly underpowered as a Soldier, even if I had apparently "good" gear.

What was it that sucked you in so much about it?
Borderlands is one of those games that I've attempted to start about 3 or 4 times now and it just never manages to grab me.
Is there something in particular about the game itself or are you an overall fan of the genre in general?
