It was great for 20 minutes. The save system is unacceptable.nitroracer82
Save system added a bit of strategy to the game IMO :)
I'm actually playing DR right now (I'm at around 5:00 on the second day) and it is a great game. The AI for the survivors is a little bad, but it won't ruin the game for you. The only reason people are saying it's bad is because they weren't very good at it. The save system is to make the gamer harder than your average console game
because im thinking about renting or rebuying itjvmva
only get it if u have a hd tv.
i liked the game except when oto wanted to talk to u there was a small text that can't be read unles u have a hd tv. but other than that its a good game. i borrowed it from a friend, i turned it off once i noticed that i couldn't read what the guy was saying.
Dead Rising = best game ever. The reason why I bought the Xbox360 in the first place.
Notice how the people who loved it accepted the save system as part of the game's strategy. And those who hated it only played for 10 minutes and complained about the save system. No one seems to complain about the Assassin's Creed save system, which NEVER let you manually save the game or return to a previous save point. Yet, people complain about the BioShock save system becuase it saved too often. Heads evil, tails evil.
I really enjoyed Dead rising, mainly just messing about in the mall rather than following the missions on my first playthrough. Your character gets better and better with each playthrough so the more time you put in, the better it becomes.
The save system will annoy people who like to save their games frequently, or only like to play in really small amounts. You can't just turn off and quit instantly.
I LOVE Dead Rising.
Although there are a handful of flaws that might break the game for many people. Like the save system, the challenging psychopaths (bosses), and maybe Frank's ugly mug.
