Did you want more in the CoD:MW2 Trailer

I know it was teaser and I know they aint showing no gameplay but they could have had some cut sceen or something tell me wat u think about it.

I thought it was stupid. Id rather they didnt show anything than to get my hopes up to see something and then it be.............that? :-(

They all ready set up the new story line and if you look near the end they show stuff that is going to be in the game, though it is filtered in that green color

Yeah - I was hoping for game play - at least we have a date now - I already scheduled a vacation day fom work - yup - proud to say I'm a COD fanboy !!!

It was a teaser and it did just what was needed it teased. This is CoD: MW2. All they needed was that and the release date and we'll all be there to buy it day of because of the pedigree and the quality of the games from Ininity Ward to date. Don't complain too hard, you'll only hurt yourselves.

Not to be a d-bag but it's not COD anymore, it is just Modern Warfare 2, and that video did exactly what it was supposed to do. TEASE. It got people talking about it(for example this forum) and that is how ALL developers do it, with a year(or a little less) till the release date they release a movie with barely any information, no gameplay and just a real quick sneak peek. So just be happy we know the date. Cant wait, the video made me happy.BadFishBTK

Thats exactly what developers should do. Release a teaser (like Bioware with Mass Effect 2). It barely does anything, but announce the game and make you think why is it like that. ME2 had the dead Shepard thing and this had the Russians talking (could you be playing as one?). They shouldn't just go out straight away and release tons of information and gameplay (Capcom) because then there is nothing to wonder about.

When Capcom showed LP2 i thought wow that looks cool, but now i think if i saw some new stuff i woudln't be wowed at all. I would just be like... i've seen it before, but the new monsters look pretty cool. Once i see ME2 or MW2 gameplay i think i will be wowed. So now i have some excitement building untill i see it which is was a teaser is supposed to do. While yes it may be boring it is supposed to make you wonder.

I bet you will think it is boring now, but maybe a few weeks down the around you will think back and wonder something about it and then you will start to be almost impatient for the next sneak peek at the game.

I will say though that the ME2 teaser made me more interested in it than this one. It did show a little more to make you wonder than this one... But i am still glad they didn't show gameplay. I mean if the game would look identical than everyone would just say "What crap is this!?!?!?" and pass it off. Now they are going to lead people on a widl goose chase for a few months and then MAY show something identical and then people will hate them. I hope it is really improved though.

I'm glad you made this forum topic because I thought the same thing. It was presented by one writer here at gamespot as the "stylish" teaser for a new COD game. Stylish? stylish?!!! I felt bad for taking the time to stream/download it. Don't get me wrong I love COD blah blah blah.

While I agree that gameplay footage would be nice, I realize that this is just a teaser for a game, and let's be honest, we all knew they were going to make another COD and we all knew that it was going to be in a modern setting, so having a little suspense until the summer news releases is not all that bad. If nothing else you guys can go to www.modernwarfare2.com and watch it again and then hit the analyze button and get to slow play and zoom in a bit, which is a nice touch, I thought. It makes fanboys wanna dissect every little frame of footage. And I guess I am one since I am about to do just that. lol.

In the beginning of the trailer it sounds like an airport or train station as there is a woman announcing what sounds like arrival and departure times, but it is hard to tell. I get the impression that there will be either bank robbers or terrorists, as you hear an elevator door closing and then people dropping and opening duffel bags to get their gear out, which means that they needed to conceal the fact that they were carrying weapons into this building, and then the doors open and you catch a glimpse of some sort of security checkpoint. Then it all goes to hell as they start opening up on people. Since there was Russian being spoken, I am guessing that there will either be Chechan (sp?) terrorists or members of a militant group from one of the former Soviet Bloc countries in this one. Also, I distinctly saw the shape of a couple of"Little Birds", or AH-6 attack helos, and what looks like some sort of oil rig or heavy industry building, as there are pipes all over it.

So I guess if you watch the trailer again and pay a little more attention to it you might get some more info, then you first thought possible. lol.

Like said before. It was perfect. Did what it was supposed to do..tease you about the game. Now everyone is thinking about it and wants to know more. Gj IW

The game will be good but the trailer was probably the worst I've ever seen.

I don't know what people want? It was really just bringing it to the attention of those who don't keep up to date with gaming news aka casual gamers. It's not for those who were aware of its release this year prior to this trailer. The trailer with the real meat will be coming soon, don't panic.

Stop whining people, its called a TEASER for a reason because there will be more trailers to come before it launches.

made me feel like it was a james bond scenario. bond wakes up woozy and looks to be seen being dragged somewhere by someone who he ends up killing. that's what it seemed like here.

Why is everyone ignoring the fact that maybe this airport stuff sets up the story?
