Disapointing 2009 Game Releases

Does 2009 look kinda disappointing to anyone else in the Games that are going to be Released ? Not just for the 360 but for all the systems ?

Seems like a week year to me.

resident evil 5 and dragon age origins looks great and don't forget 2008 was supposed to be a great year but gears of war2 is one of the worst game ever made fallout3 and brothers in arms is a little bit dissapointed, thanks left 4 dead and dead space for save the year

idk if it will be weak, so to speak, but not quite as intense

there were so many good games coming out in the last quarter of 08 that nobody could really keep up

i think 09 will have some really good games

for instance, at the end of January, Skate 2 comes out

also, 2009 looks be alright, but not as good as 08 was. i'm pretty much only interested in skate. 2 and tekken 6 at the moment

it always looks like its gonna be a bad year for games at the beginning

they said that about 08, they said that about 07, and 06 and so on

and by "they" i mean people that wanna jump the gun and not do any reasearch

this year, like all others, is gonna be great for games

i cant think of a year where no good games were made

Wow not true at all. fallout 3 and gears of war 2 are amazing.

I wouldent say that with resident evil 5, Final Fantasy 13 and gran turismo 5 and theres always new ip`s coming and going like dead space and assasins creed for 07/08 so i think that it could be a good year.Whippadish

Final Fantasy 13 is coming out in Japan this year.. we wont get it till 2010.

Dont get me wrong 2009 may have some potential but due to Games being relesed later then they were announced 2009 titles being pushed to 2010 and the titels being released this year that were originally 2008 titles.

I really feel that 2009 is the year of games that we have heard about for 3 years yet know little about and the year of either potential Great/Flops games .

There aren't a'lot of known titles coming out that aren't fighters. Ill be taking my chances with a few titles that caught my eye but I will be reading every review I can to make sure there are not targeting issues' rushed story lines' and glitches in those games.

Almost every year starts like this. Things look crappy for the year and then were spammed with all these annoucements for games later on. 09 will pick up like 08 did.

How can you complain with games like SFIV, RE5, Skate 2, Prototype, Star Ocean and a ton of other games coming out. We haven't even seen any Holiday line up so far except for God of War 3 for PS3 owners.

meh, i dont look ahead in games more than a month or so. someone says "title" is coming out, if it sounds interesting i look at it.
