Disk scratching!?!?!?!

MY XBOX 360 KEEPS SCRATCHING MY DISKS UNTIL THEY ARE UNREADABLE. I AM NOT MOVING MY XBOX WHILST PLAYING SO THAT HASN'T CAUSED IT AND MY 360 IS ALWAYS SIDE WAYS DOWN ON A HARD FLAT SURFACE. WHATS HAPPENING!?!?!

( I ALSO HAVE ONE RED LIGHT IN THE BOTTOM RIGHT OF THE POWER BUTTON )

yh i checked all my wires and done all the basic stuff that MS told me to do and no sucess. I'll buy some of those disk sleeves.

yeh they should do the trick...if MS coulndt help i dont think any one can, unless you have to send it in...i wont say anything about the kind of over the phone service they provide...

Never had that problem, but something is wrong. It shouldn't scratch disks.
