Disk unreadable??????

Ow come on iam sick of this system first i had the red rings fixed that... Now i finally buy FarCry 2 game iam dying to play online so i start to play online but when the map is about to load up! this screen pops up disk unreadable the screen said to use a soft cloth or somthing..... So i use a soft wet cloth still does not work this is werid the campaighn mode works but i just can't play online!!!!! wtf i can play my other games but i can't play this wtf is the problem????

i just bought gears of war 2 and already i have got 2 new copies i turn on my console and start playing i got

half way through campaign when i got the disk unreadable message but b4 i hear the noise when ur xbox scartches your disc

even though i have had my xbox flat horizontally since the day i got it and never moved it since i took the disc out and found a small scratch on all the discs i am yet to take the console back and get ANOTHER copy of gears 2 so ill keep you posted on what

happens but please reply with any comments ??

Its the game. Mine did the same for online. Out of all my 360s even after being repaired never had any type of read error till Far Cry 2. I put it in my second box and it gave a load error/clean disk and reboot again message trying to load online maps. So I exchanged the game and had no problem with Far Cry 2 since it has been replaced.

i had the same problem with gears of war same msg kept poping i replaced it with a new one and it worked fine

I had this problem with Gears or War, I rented it but my Xbox 360 couldn't read the disc. I borrowed it from a friend and my Xbox 360 couldn't read the disc. I bought it used but my Xbox 360 couldn't read the disc (I returned it and got a full refund).

Finally played a brand new copy, and worked like a charm.

I guess the point of this is, I understand how you feel, and I was just wondering if it was a brand new copy or if you got it used or rented it or acquired it some other way.
