Disk-tray Malfuction! Please Help!

The majority of the time when itry to open the disk tray of my xbox360 it becomes seemingly stuck and does not open, the system then attempts to read a non existent disk. If i tap on the tray opening, it will then slide out. Yet not automatically or by manually pressing the open button as it should. PLEASE HELP. what may be causing the problem? and what could be done to resolve it?i appreciate any helpful suggestions. thank you.

This happens to me all the time. It takes multiple tries to open the disc tray, but it's been like this forever now, and I haven't had any other problems.Solid_Snake1221

same with me. Its a very minor problem, and am too lazy to get another one from MS. I too would like a solution.

They would probably just tell you to deal with it and not give you a new one/ repair your current one.

Mine started getting stuck as soon as it was out of warranty.

I have the same problem.My 360 does not open when vertical but i have no problem when i put it orizontal so ,sadly i am using it that way.
