Yeah it does work, i've had it before... but the picture quality isn't all that great, but still able to play movies in formats other than WMV and MOV.Â
No Windows Media Center needed. It converts the files to wmv/wma/mp3 on the fly, PC side, and uses Media Connect, Zune Player, or Media Player 11 to stream the data to your 360. The resultant picture quality should be close to the original material.
Thethread is back! BTW the new Tversity is much improved, allowing for full HD streaming in real time provided you have a PC fast enough, it can even upscale video.
Tried this about a month, great idea but very difficult to setup and to actually work consistantly. Though that was a BETA at that time, hope its more stable now
