depends, but for me I really don't like the idea of paying for content like maps, extra songs, etc. it's bad enough that you have to pay for gamerpics, let alone not having something as simple as your own custom gamerpic :x
It all depends on the size of the download. Wanna know why if a download is tiny for a decent amount of content, it was already in your game but you just have to pay to unlock. Those are simply companies ripping you off. If it is reasonable about of megabytes then it is a way to get some extra gamepaly.
Its mostly a way to get more money out of the gamer.Companies don't care about gamers its all business to the suits that have now taken over gaming.Why release a game packed with content when you can just take a few out and then release them slowly to take even more money from the gamer.
For the most part, it is a devilish way for developers to steal money from us. Usually, the extra content sucks balls and when its decent, its more likely they created it for the retail version but didn't include it so they can charge us later for it.
i think money. i only get the free things there, i'm waiting til halo 3 maps r free. most of the games don't have a lot of good things. pic packs and themes for 800 points.
It's both because a game you enjoy playing at some point playing on the same maps gets boring and you want to see something new. M$ does make money from it but it's also the company that released the game benefits from it.
