Is there a probable percentage? I hear of people all the time "OMG RROD"
I've had mine since 2006 and no red rings!
Do all of them get them eventually?

My first Core bundle lasted just under a year and it broke but no RROD just overheated alot. I had my second one for 28 days and it RROD.......Ive been with the PS3 since. and im not fanboy just value my money.1noteshort
As do I, paid only $100 for my console after a discount when I bought my HDTV & haven't had to pay a penny more for repairs. But it does suck having to wait for it to come back, but luckly I hooked up with a gal whom had a core console so I just slapped my HD in it while mine was gone. Sad thing is mine went out 4 times & we haven't had any problems at all with the other one.
No of course they don't all get RROD
You should also be aware that RROD is not one single problem - it indicates general hardware failure, and as such could be several different things
Well, not ALL of them, but i have heard that percentages like 23.4 to 50.3, and honestly, those are just the reported ones. I think all of them COULD get it. Some people probably don't play enough for it to rrod. The new ones are supposed not to rrod or e74, but there are thousands of videos of it getting errors. Anyway, if you play it rarely, it could last years, if you play it often for marathons, it will probably break within a few months. If you want reliability, get a ps3, if you want the xbox, if yours gets the rrod, wait for a while and see if the same problems hit the horrible console failure rates of the original xbox. If they don't, or you have a magic xbox, good for you. I think I'm gonna go buy a ps3 until the slim gets some reviews.
