do elites overheat?

i am thinking about buying a 360 but i am waiting till ms fixes the problem with current 360s. so i was just wondering do elites overheat?and do u think i should buy one now or should i wait?

Get an Elite. Oh noes I will have to wait 1-2 weeks when it breaks!! Seriously, who cares, you'll get it repaired or replaced for 3 years for red lights.

omg dude seriously just buy one because ur just gonna be waiting longer for m$ to fix this problem when you could be playing right now if ur xbox dies it wont die for awhile if you buy brand new
