i would say yes, even my ps2 games look better on my hdtv then they did on my regular tv.

Yeah, they do look much better. If you get component cables for your "older" systems you'll really be able to see the difference.

Yes they do look better, but make sure you do you research on what TV you want.

Yeah.  At least go for a $300 LCD EDTV.  Component input is a huge step up from composite.  Progressive scan is a huge step up from interlaced (standard) video.  Those two alone make it better than a regular TV.  I have a 20" LCD EDTV and games from all my consoles look amazingly good.

If you can afford the HD, then go for that first and foremost though.  It looks even better.

It is worth buying an HDTV if you already have on awesome sound system, personally I go for the sound system first then the TV.

the lighting in games look good and things that look spectacular are way more stunning.go the stores and check em out next to a SDTV
