Do I have to buy a seperate HDMI cable?

I just bought a new high definition television, and it came with a HDMI cable. So I went to plug it in my 360 but it didn't fit. There wasn't enough room for it to plug into the slot because the thing with all the cables was too large. Do I have to buy a special 360 HDMI cable for it to work?

just unplug the component cables (the 5 or 6 cables that connect to your tv) and just plug in the hdmi. The hdmi carries audio and video through it, outputting to the tv. Then on your tv set the input to HDMI and you shouldbe good. The xbox auto sets your resolution when you output hdmi so it'll look amazing
