i am a little perplexed as to what you mean; do you mean you want to connect your real guitar OR do you want to use the guitar controller that was designed for the game?

You can use your 360 controller - although its rubbish like that and not intuitive. A guitar controller is much better and easier. There are some cheap ones on ebay but be wary of damage. Hope that helps Aventura54

You can just use a Guitar. You don't HAVE to use a standard controller at all.

Nope. Just make sure the Guitar is highlighted as "controller 1". If have a controller on as controller 1, then cut the guitar on, after you disconnect the standard controller, it will still see the Guitar as controller 2 and ask you to reconnect your controller. Just start the game, or even cut your 360 on, using the Guitar so it will be recognized as controller 1.

the guitar controller is the only controller you need, you DO NOT need a regular controller
