Do I need the recent update in order to run Shivering Isles?

Do I need to be online for my Shivering Isles download to work?  I buy and install the other little expantions, and have never done the update to fix glitches.

I play the game offline, because I like the duping glitches and what have you.:)

After downloading Shivering Isles last night it won't let me install.  It says new information has downloaded, but I can't find it.  I even waited 24 hours, but nothing happened.  What gives?:|

I hope I don't need to do Bethesda's dumb update to enjoy Shivering.:(

Anybody else with this prob? 

the update gives you the 10 new zchievments that shivering isles has, so thats probably why.Fifty-FIve55

Ahhhh shhh-it.:|

I wish I could just download the new draw distance + achievements patch, and not have to do the old glitch patch.
