it could definitly cost $6000.
Wii is casual. I would put the PS3 on the same level of Hardcore as 360. If you own both, you're better off

I wouldnt say Hardcore since if 360 has done any thing really much better than its predecessor Xbox 1 is that it has got near abt all the 3rd party games ported to it. So by doing this the MS have ensured flow of games on 360 and both (360 and Devs) get mutual benefit. so thats why games of all quality are on 360 so its not hardcore its have place for hardcore but casuals are not left out yeah but one thing is for sure its not as casual as Wii.
But news emerged from MTV's gaming site that 360 is gonna have substitute of Wii Zapper so that Wii games and gamers could flow to it. They where saying abt profits in RTS, Run and Gun shooter and sports games etc.
Of COURSE , in my opinion.
The 360 has DVD capabilites and can hook up to all media on a windows computer.
Its not just a gaming system it is a media system.
But yes, your not a hardcore gamer without a 360

What in the hell does having DVD capabilities have to do with anything? Your 2nd and 3rd sentences are totally irrelevant.

Sure they can -- check out Voodoo PCs. Their desktop costs about $5500 without extra add-ons.
And you can buy all the components that go into one of those for about 2000 and even if you can't build it yourself, you can find someone to build a gaming rig with those components for less than half what it would cost for a Voodoo PC.
If you're going to buy a gaming Rig, DON'T BUY NAME BRANDS!!! they charge for the name and a cool case, that's it.
I would say 360 gamers are the most hardcore. The numbers speak for themselves: 360 owners buy more games than their Wii and 360 counterparts. (the attach-rate) A lot of Wii owners are casual so they're still playing Wii sports (if they're still playing it at all, I know that myself and a lot of my friends are not plaing it anymore...) As for the PS3, we'll have to see where it stands after GTA4 and MGS4 are out, but I think Sony lost a lot of casual gamers to the Wii...
Frankly, I can't imagine someone NOT playing Bioshock, Mass Effect and other great 360 games, lol. The only game I have on PS3 is that great (4 year old) Xbox game Ninja Gaiden!
Do you guys think that casual gamers would rather buy the ps3 and wii over the xbox 360?RealKilla_789`
Non-gamers that want some entertainment will get a Wii but casual gamers will get a PS3 or 360 aswell. But most casual gamers are getting a PS3 over a 360, I suspect this is due to the famous name, for example on my school they stil think that GTA is a PS exclusive serie. But hardcore gamers are definatly buying a 360, it shows in the amount of games sold per console. For 360 it's 7 to 1 when PS3 has 3 to 1.
I'm not a hardcore gamer as basically missed a generation of consoles (xbox, gamecube and PS2), before 360 had a N64 as was playing mainly on the PC.mrgabsame here. but then my pc just couldn't keep up with the new games. I didnt feel like upgrading it. So got a 360 instead. I'm very pleased so far.
to anyone who is wanting to buy a new system i tell them 360 or wii first, and then ps3 last. The Wii and 360 each have a bunch of must own games, while the ps3 not so much. SUre i cant wait for metal gear solid, but i couldnt take the drought in games any longer on the ps3, had to sell it. Ill probbaly get another one when Metal Gear drops, but i dont really think a system is worth it for just one or two games and a terrible online service.
I loved my ps1 and ps2, as they had a whole lot of rpgs on them along with other exclusives, but not for the ps3, and its kinda a shame imo.
Your question would probably be best answered in System Wars, for the simple fact that you'll get a biased answer here.dizzykim
Agreed. But if you really think about it. The hardest of the hardcore gamers would buy all 3 systems. Because they want to experience games on the Wii, PS3, and 360. But I dont own all 3 though so I'm not considered a hardcore gamer in my mind.
