Yea i played last week and there was like 14,000 people playing, theres still alot playing COD 4 also, but im sure both will go down in numbers when everyone gets there copies of MW2 for Christmas.
I don't think you need to worry about finding people to play with unless the game is five years old or a no-name port that no one even noticed was released.
not many people play it, about half as much as people playing cod4 but most people i see online are pretty low ranked, it makes for constant games of good k/d's :D
