Do People Still Play Call of Duty MW1 On Xbox Live?

Do People Still Play COD 4 online? Is it active or is it dead? I am thinking about picking this up for cheap.

So you're guessing people don't really play this on xbox live anymore? That sucks. I was going to buy a used copy but oh wells I have to consider a new game to buy now that has an active MP. I used to own COD4 but sold it and now is thinking about going back. Since people aren't playing this online anymore I guess it's a waste to buy it.

At Peaks there are around 20.000 people online.
Mostly 8000 - 10.000 players playing ( easy to find matches, although you having some trouble if you wanna play sabotage or something. )

There are alotttt of people playing COD4. There are even people still playing COD2

This game is actually more fun than ever, because people just run around quick-scoping and no-scoping. It's awesome!:D

I don't play it anymore but I know some of my friends still pop on for an hour or two every once in a while :P

I still play COD4 a lot, and now that MW2 is out I find it a lot eaiser because all the little kids who couldn't afford it before now have it and they aren't so good at it. haha but it still is a really great game.

yeah of course. Just like people still play halo3. just because a newer version comes out, that doenst make a GREAT game not popular anymore. You'll see people on the COD4:MW servers for a while. I personally like cod4 more than MW2.
