Do people still play halo 3??

Im finally getting my very own xbox 360 soon!!! :D I think i might need a wireless adapter cause i dont think my comp has a port for an ethernet cable BUT onto the topici saw halo 3 for 30 bucks and i to get it...But then i thought wait this was released in 07 people might not play it very much anymore :( IS the multiplayer still going strong or is it sleeping with the fishes?

Yeah its still up and running, and its alive and festive. Full of annoying little kids screaming into the mic's and a bunch of annoying guys who think they are amazing. JuggaloRandall

Yeah it's pretty active. Only time I ever have a hard time finding a game is if I am playing splits screen and am looking for a good connection.

the problem with h3 online is you need to buy the map packs to play any real games. without them your limited to just one type now. its really crappy and i just dont play it any more and im not spending the money just for the right to play.kit352

I was playing yesterday and there was almost 200,000 people on.

the problem with h3 online is you need to buy the map packs to play any real games. without them your limited to just one type now. its really crappy and i just dont play it any more and im not spending the money just for the right to play.kit352

Out of the current fifteen available playlists only four require any dlc. Halo 3 has never required players to have DLC just in order to play matchmaking. There have always been a fair amount of playlists for those who do not have the DLC.

Of course people still play it.
