Do the newer produced 250gb models still have the gloss paint job?

nope they all got switched over to mat finish. If you buy a xbox new and get one. i recommend you take it back and get other just because if it does happen that means that xbox been sitting on the shelve for quite some time.

I just purchased an Xbox today, the Forza bundle. The Xbox was definitely not glossy.
