get rid of it now!!

it will cause ur 360 to RROD

it has been known to cause hardware failure because it drains too much power from the 360.

why did i do my research after i got the rrod:cry:

was it the intercoolerEX? The EX one is supposed to be better and not mess with the console that much. There is one that just says Nyko intercooler I believe and the new one out is the Nyko IntercoolerEX. Unless you were using the EX and still got the rrod then i'm sorry to hear that. They have to stop making those 3rd party products man it's sad.

With your next 360 keep it near a window where fresh air will come in and help your 360 from overheating. That's what i'm doing now and it works great. No need for an intercooler.

I had one and it worked great and it was the older model the only problem was that it was quite noisy.

My dad and I both had one. His Xbox got zorched with the RROD, whereas I immediately returned mine at a gamestop for full credit (lucky!). thank god for best buy warranties or else my dad would be holding the bag on that one.

No! It seems that if you have the Xbox 360 with good ventilation it is enough. Be careful of the nyko intercooler, I also read that it caused problems.

I put one on my launch console and almost immediately I started having problems with the screen locking up. Shortly after, I got the RROD. Coincidence? Maybe so but I am not riskingputting it on my new Elite.
