Lately, with the exception of a few games, I've just been buying games around $40 and under. I don't mind waiting a little while for games, that I know will depreciate fast anyway.

Tekken 6 is not worth full price, sorry.it depends on the game really. Tekken 6 and Forza 3 i have no problem paying full price for.

i get all my games under 15 bucks. useally i get 3 games for 35 bucks at my local pawn shop. got fable 2, cod waw, and halo 3 for 35 on one trip there.
i just go on ebay and bid on games. sometimes i get lucky nd get a newer game pretty cheap.
i usually wont go over 30$, FFXIII will b the exception, and maybe borderlands cuz it sounds like my kind of gameplay.
i might get dead space 2 brand new also.
but 9/10 times i wont go over 25$
Depends how badly I want the game. If I'm unsure, then I rent it when I can and if I like it, it will be bought. Demos also play a role, if i like the demo, I buy the game. Also depends on what my friends play. The ONLY reason I have Call of Duty: World at War is becuase my friends got it. If it was up to me, they'd be playing rainbow Six Vegas. Yep. Borderlands, Rage, Brink, Modern Warfare 2 are all games ill be getting soon. Next 4 games I'm geting actually.
What? Where do you buy games?... Anyway, I'll buy the games at launch if its for MP or Co-op with friends whom also pick it up at launch. SP/for campaign games can wait till when ever. I'm super competitive in MP so no point arriving late to the party. I'm the guy the casuals play against and totally ruin there experience. (I love being that guy)"If you buy games at launch they're 10-15 dollars cheaper" plus you get freebies and preorder bonuses
After that they stay full price for a while
I get mine at launch

Indeed. Amazon is the best for awesome deals at launch. They usually have the game below retail price to begin with, but there are always promotional codes and preorder bonuses attached to them as well. At least most of them that is. It's ridiculous how much money I've saved the past month or so buying games from Amazon.
