Do you leave your Xbox 360 on? (poll)

I know with PC's there are two camps, those who say leave it on does less harm, and those who say turning it off does less harm. I'm just wondering what you guys here think about the 360. I mean, technically, its just a modified PC neways, so ....

For the record, I'm scared of RROD so I turn mine off when I'm done.

Well, I think the same way, but assuming there isn't a design flaw, the 360 on dashboard playing music is no different from a desktop just sitting around doing the same. How many PC's overheat just playing mp3s nonstop?killerkop

Well if it's in USE be it music,video,or game then no problem. If you're not using it why keep it on? With a pc you have to wait for it to turn on so you can leave it on for a bit but a 360 turns on fast. So no real point of keeping it on.

I dont consider the 360 to be anything like a PC. Ofcourse it has its simularities but as for leaving it on...nah. I still wouldn't

Do a little test for me man, leave both your PC and 360 on for a few hours. Now put you hand against the side of both, see the differance? The side of my PC is colder then anything else in my house, and my 360 is warmer then anything 'cept my stove.

PC's have so much empty space in them they don't overheat, and modded systems normally have massive cooling systems as well. The 360 may be made of the same things as a PC, but they are put together in a horrible way to try and reduce the form factor. I wish they had made the damn thing bigger then the old one.

When the Halo 3 beta was going, I left it on for 3 strait days until Bungie figured out how to kick us.

My launch 360 is a tank, and nothing can stop it.

I'm not worried about the RROD, I'm worried that I'll burn out the laser.
