Do you listen to music while you game?

since most MP games dont have music playing, i play some tunes unless i want to hear where my enemies are coming from so they're like WTF HOW'D YOU KNOW I WAS THERE?!

for shooters i listen to rock, racers i listen to techno...and anything else like oblivion i just go shuffle

A few of the bands I listen to:

Opeth, Wintersun, Dream Theater (old stuff), Rush, Agalloch, Between the Buried and Me, Brand New, Daylight Dies, Deftones, Emperor, Gojira, Hurt, Katatonia, Muse, A Perfect Circle, Porcupine Tree, Dissection, In Flames, Tool, and... (I'm ashamed to even say it) Slipknot.

Single player- no

MP- yes

usually along the lines of Alesana, Coheed and Cambria, The Agony Scene, or Neurosonic

this is actually more of a forum for myself... i need more rush music in my music list... so if you do or you know any "rush" or really any good music bands... plz name em birdcrap

Dream theater, rush, metallica, dragonforce, etc.

I always listen to music when im playing sports games or FPS online but other then that i like to hear the game.

Bands I Listen To: Pink Floyd,Led Zeppelin,Grateful Dead,Loud Reed,Johnny Cash,The Doors,Bob marley.

Some games i do, some i dont, as in ME you need to hear the dialogue, and music+ the box's noise is a no go lol. but when i do :

LostProphets (early stuff only)

Disturbed

Ignite

and similar punk/metal musics

I mostly listen to Techno/Trance music when i game cus i like the fast beat. Something like Prodigy is a good example of what i like to listen to. I also like Rock sometimes.

I listened to ALOT of rock while playing COD 4. ;)

only in multiplayer games. I listen to Slayer, Metallica, Cannibal Corpse, Iron Maiden, Children of Bodom, Nile, And Jack Johnson.:)

Pretty much all of my games I will listen to music.

Mainly Oi/Punk bands Cock Sparrer, Sham 69, UK Subs, Sex Pistols) but also stuff like Tool, Pink Floyd, Opeth, Amon Amarth.

Yes. But only when I play online multiplayer games like Gears of War and Halo 3 because sometimes when I die or just plain out get owned, the music makes it less impactive, and I'm able to keep playing, rather than throwing my shoe through the screen and getting pissed off.

I only do it when the soundtrack on the game doesnt really intrest me. So like CoD and Lost Planet and some others ill put on my own music and then pretty much all sports and racing i use my own tunes.

I like all of those bands. Gojira is great.
