Do you make money even while not playing in Fable III?

I've got a big property empire in Fable III, but I was wondering if I'm making money off it even when my xbox is off? That seems almost too easy but it would be nice..

It was way easy to glitch it in Fable II. All you needed to do was unplug your ethernet cable or wireless network adapter and change the time settings on your xbox to some random date in the future. And bam, you got just got like 5mil+ gold.
