Do you only play multiplayer games with friends?

Personally, I do. My best friend and I (and a few other people) play BC 2 and MW 2 from time to time. I just can't play multiplayer unless I'm playing with friends. I don't know what it is, it just bores me unless it's with friends that I can chat with and that I know.

And I know it's been said before, but those annoying kids in those games drive me crazy. I'm 25, and listening to 12 year olds curse like sailors while playing those games make me think I'm beyond too old to be playing videogames anymore.

it depends on the game, but usually i play Bad company 2 with strangers and i dont mind that because most of them are better than my friends :X. but when it comes to party games like castle crashers, borderlands etc, i play those with my friends.

its pretty fun to talk to strangers too, regardless of what age they are. as long as they dont humiliate you lol

I think I only play multiplayer games with strangers. I rarely play with friends to be honest. Don't get me wrong when I do it's a blast, but we have really different schedules so most of the time it doesn't work out. Even co-op games like Borderlands I play with strangers.

Theres a fifty percent chance that I play multiplayer games with friends, and then theres the other fifty percent chance of me playing multiplayer with random people.

Unless there's a single player game I'm really into, I usually won't go online if none of my friends are. Of course, most of the time I can find at least one person to play a multiplayer game with, or I can just play one of my many unfinished arcade games while I wait.:P And the beauty of XBL is that even if we want to play different games, I can still talk to my friend through party chat.

I play online with strangers. I don't find it boring at all. I can easily go into a room in MW2 and chat it up with some people.Logan1616
