It's my personal favorite game on the 360. If you like RPGs with good stories, then yes, you'll love the game. But, if you're one of those people who will complain about a game having "too much talking", then you're better off sticking with halo and call of duty.
Story was amazing. I loved it. But it's not the most polished game. Some of the extra planets you can explore are kind of boring (the side-mission ones). Plus driving the terrain vehicle is way stupid. But there's so many choices and ways for you to develop your character, it made this easily my favorite game on the 360 also.
Very good game, sometimes the story seems stiff and far too sci-fi, but stick with it, you'll thank me later. And for 20 bucks, thats a steal. You could find it for a lot less on ebay, craigslist, and gamestop.
I'd definitely recommend it. I've played through it four times so far. I'd even recommend the books, as I just finished them both and I thought they were pretty good.
Considering the platinum hits release of it now already includes the first DLC add-on for free, it's certainly difficult not to be in favor of getting it.
Definitely. I was never a big RPG fan but I too bought this game Platinum Hits for $20 as something to fool around with and I must say it turned me to the Darkside. Excellent story/graphic/gameplay. Can't wait for 2 with the refined combat. What the hell are you waiting for?!
Some people love it...some people don't. There's no way of knowing how you will feel about the game until you really play it. I say give it a shot, you may be one of the people that love the game. I personally was turned off by the A.I. and combat... but there are a ton of others who didn't mind it.
short answer: yes, long answer: yeeeeeeees I can't believe they would sell it at that price, so CHEAP! It's one of them rare hard to find sci fi with good graphics rpg for the 360 games. Theres some wicked weapons and series of gameplay. Theres a massive world to explore and you can even make choices on what you say that effect what happens in the game. There's also some wicked looking creatures in the game, that dills your mind with excitement. Mass effect will provide hours of gameplay and fun, and it's worth getting.
It's worth trying...I could never get into it and thought the combat system was horrible. I think I will like ME 2 because things like the combat system should be fixed.
Definitely worth $20 if you like action RPGs. Get the platinum hits 2 disk package, it comes with the DLC.
You will definitely be annoyed by the inventory system, though.I actually liked the side quest planets even though they did get repetitive and there wasn't much story to them.
