Do you still play Gears of War 1?

i've been playing it alot recently, and i find it better in some ways than the 2nd. (in some ways) but overall its still a fun game, do you still play?

Not since gears of war 2 came out. Gears of war 2 is better over the first in every way possible.

There isn't really a reason to play Gears 1 since Gears 2 came out because we have something new although there are a lot of things everybody wants switched in Gears 2 that was in Gears 1.

I'm going to go ahead and say that I still haven't played it, and I've owned it for 3 or 4 years.

It's still a great game but I stopped playing a little while ago when I got some bug that deleted my game save along with all achievement progress.

I may start campaign over again soon, but I think I'll only be playing this game a little bit on and off in the future.

Yes, it is one of the few games I play online.

Gear of War 1's multiplayer is much better than 2's, I think 2 has been noobified I hate it, don't play either anymore bit to repetitive for my liking.Mr_Illusive

I don't see a reason to play the Gears series online. The last thing "Gears Of War" related that I played was Horde...and that was in 2008.

I still have yet to beat General RAAM on insane. He keeps kicking my ass. I've done all I can with the game, so that's all I have to do. I will play it occasionally, however.

Yup I still play Gears 1, in fact thats my most played game online. Gears 2 feels slow and sluggish compared to the 1st. And the graphics in Gears 1 are far better than the 2nd imo. The 1st looks so dark and gritty while the other adds so much color which makes me wonder what happened to the dark look from the 1st, they might as well add a rainbow in the back round. I was playing Gears 2 the other day, because a friend wanted to play horde. Then we switched to the multiplayer, most of the games I played I wished I was playing Gears 1.

I also miss how quickly and fluid the characters feel when playing Gears 1. The chainsaw is also over powered in the 2nd. There were plenty of times I shot first point blank with a shotgun, yet I still get chainsawed. I can go on and on but Gears is a great franchise, Gears 2 had a fun campaign which had some cool boss fights. But I prefer the online multiplayer from the 1st over the 2nd any day.

i played it once about 3 or 4 months ago and it's just not the same since playing gears 2, it's just so different imo and gears 2 is better. i feel the gameplay in gears 2 is better but the connection issues are way worse in gears 2

I play it once in a while with my friends that don't have Gears 2 but I mostly play Gears 2.
