Do you take friend's request from random players/strangers online?

I just got a odd friend's request out of nowhere while playing online yesterday. I didn't even know it was in my message.

I declined it. I didn't know who the heck it was and I always get weary when someone just randomly sends friend's requests like that. It was the first time I got something like this.

So just wondering to everyone else here. Did you ever get random friend's request from someone you don't know before? If so, do you accept them or decline?

I used to accept them until I realized that I will never play with them again if I ever did that is.

Decline them because I will never play a game with them.

I accept 'em. Sometimes they message me later and and we have a conversation/play something. There's no real reason not to; you can always just delete them later if they get on your nerves.

I usually ask how they know me, cause for about a year and a half I lent my GT to my best friend. So obviously he might have told people of my GT, and they probably took a long time to send a request so I have to explain them this and redirect them to his new GT xD

Only has happened once though, but yeah it can happen

Why? Because I don't have a reason not to.

Nope. I only accept them from people I know in real life or on here and Giantbomb.

i used too so id have people to play with but over the years my list has become filled with actual people that i know in real life so i dont add people anymore.

I have in the past but not anymore.Got one a few weeks ago,checked their profile and they didn't even play the same games as me.So I sent them a message saying "and who might you be?" and they never answered back so needless to say they were deleted:P

Yea I accept random friend request. I've meet few who were actually cool and ended up playing games with them time to time.
