I loved the original Bioshock, and I also enjoyed Bioshock 2. I was thinking of buying Bioshock to play it again since it's so cheap now.

Do you think it's worth another playthrough? Does it still have that unique atmosphere the second time around?

I'm playing the first game right now and I'm definetly going to be doing at least one more replay, maybe even two. The atmosphere is great and it really is cheap now, you can probably get the game for $6-8.

Bioshock is definitely worth it at any time, especially if you enjoyed it!

Have you gotten all of the achievements? If not, now is a better time than ever!!

It's funny you mention this because for the past week I couldn't stop thinking about how unique and interesting of a game Bioshock is. I loved the atmosphere because it's just so one of a kind. I'm sure if it's been a while since you last played it, it will be very enjoyable.

Absolutely. Like an above poster said if you haven't gotten all the achievements for it then it's worth revisiting. Also if you haven't seen all the endings, that in itself is enough to go back for.

heck yeah it is, I'd play it if I wasn't busy trying new things, anyhow the game is like $20 now, but you can get it in that Bioshock + Oblivion combo for like less than $30 on Amazon, so if you haven't tried Oblivion it's only a little more than a rental along with Bioshock... different games though

Aboslutely, with the impending arrival of Infinite, it is alwasy a good idea of more encouters with:

1. Dr. Steinmann

2. Sander Cohen

3. Tannenbaum

4. Andrew Ryan

5. Atlas ("would you kindly?";))

Rapture is special, definitely a world worth going back to. I've replayed it 3 times, and now that you've mentioned it, i'm thinking about a 4th visit.

Oh yeah I'd pay Rapture another visit, especially if it has been a while since you've been there.

I think it really depends on a number of things. First and foremost would be that the first time you played it, how many times did you play through, or if only once did you rush through it or take it all in? Another thing is how much you like the game to begin with. Personally, it's my favorite game of all time, and I played through it no less than 4 times. But that's just me. If you're worried it won't still be interesting, try a hardest difficulty no death run... i forget the name of the achievement. I wanna say its like big brass balls or something. But yeah, try for that.

Bioshock was the first game since the original Silent Hill games that actually made me physical jump up out of my seat. I loved the second one as well and the stories are absolutely phenominal. I have played the original twice already before playing the second and I leant it to my friend to play - I think I'll be playing it again when their done. ^.^ I vote: Yes!!!

Still creepy, still awesome, still unique. although i found it a little annoying trying to adjust back to the original controls, i think that's the one thing bioshock 2 did alot better than the first. Anyway definitely worth revisiting!
