I think it will be another Darkness or Stranglehold - reasonable games that miss out on being really big hits - just another FPS rather than a game everyone plays.
Strangely, I find myself looking forward to it. I say strangely because i usually only ever look forward to RPGs, and not shooters. I reckon it looks pretty good. It looks like Resident Evil 4 in space, so i'm totally cool with that.

I have mixed feelings. 75% of me things its going to be good. 25% of me is a little skeptical. But from what ive seen im definitely going to get it and am pretty excited for it. The demos kind of gave me almost a bioshock in space feel. Im glad to see EA starting to make a comeback with this and BF:BC and there are a couple more
It looks good... but if you think about it, so did Army of Two, and look at it now, i'll wait for reviews and the demo, its EA, they always release demos.
because this game actually requires thinking to play.and its a horror game.it will fail.
by thinking i mean. You have to actually hit the monsters in specific spots to kill them. imagine getting attacked by multiple of these things. while trying to aim for their weak spots. with your Fusion Cutter(aka fututistic knife)
sure it'll be scary. which i look for to playing with my friend. but I can already see this game failing in combat gameplay.

I hope it turns out good....actually better than good. It looks great and even though it is a FPS there is something about it that sets it apart from all the rest.
I can't wait for it. It reminds me off all the great sci-fi horror classics.hat and it's been a while since a game gave me a really good, all around scare. Think the last one might have been fear. Condemned was freaky, but I spent most of the time annoyed at the combat and lack of more crime scenes.
I think it looks excellent, I like the idea of a space/horror game and dead space does fit the bill. The moment I seen the guy getting trailed into the hole by that huge worm type creature I was sold lol.
